Day 3 at Splendour in the Grass kicked off for me with a ripper of a set by the Vanns, performing to a packed tent of fervent fans.

Next up were the Dune Rats, playing to a raucous amphitheatre, complete with giant blow-up beer cans.

I didn’t know what to expect with Noah Cyrus. The excitement of the crowd in the McLennan tent was palpable and when she took the stage, there was an eruption of joy. With her wonderful voice and ethereal looks, Cyrus did not disappoint.

Tove Lo, the Swedish singer-songwriter mesmerised fans with her provocative and fearless set.

Local favourite, Thelma Plum‘s distinctive and soulful voice thrilled the audience, who warmed to her genuine and engaging demeanour.

Next up in the amphitheatre were IDLES. The band delivered an electrifying and intense set. Joe Talbot, is a passionate and charismatic presence-whipping his mic lead and the crowd into a frenzy.

After the rain affected Splendour last year, it was great to have the festival back, with Byron Shire delivering balmy and beautiful weather, complete with a rainbow on the last day. Here’s to Splendour 2024, it’s great to have Australia’s Coachella back on board.
