Ethel Cain will bring her Willoughby Tucker Forever tour to Australia and New Zealand in March, marking an extension of her sold-out North American and European run.

Presented by Frontier Touring and Penny Drop, the tour will include stops at Auckland Town Hall, Melbourne’s Palais Theatre, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall and Fremantle Arts Centre.

Presales open Wednesday 13 August at 11:00am local time, with general tickets available from Monday 18 August at 11:00am via frontiertouring.com/ethelcain.

The announcement follows the release of Cain’s new album, Willoughby Tucker, I’ll Always Love You. Serving as a prequel to her 2022 debut Preacher’s Daughter, the record traces the beginnings of the titular romance with Willoughby Tucker. The album was produced and recorded across studios in Daleville, Alabama, Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, and Tallahassee, Florida, with songs spanning the entirety of her career to date.

The first legs of the Willoughby Tucker Forever tour sold out within weeks, shifting over 170,000 tickets for shows at venues including New York’s Radio City Music Hall, Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium, London’s Eventim Apollo and Paris’ L’Olympia.

Ethel Cain, the moniker of Florida-born artist Hayden Anhedönia, first gained widespread attention with her 2021 EP Inbred, recorded in the basement of an Indiana church. Her debut album Preacher’s Daughter drew critical acclaim and placed her on stages worldwide, as well as in collaborations with Florence + the Machine, Mitski, Givenchy, Miu Miu and Calvin Klein.
