Three decades on, Morcheeba still know how to make time stand still. The UK trip-hop icons—fronted by the incomparable Skye Edwards and Ross Godfrey—are bringing their lush, genre-spanning sound back to Australia for a 30th-anniversary tour that promises both nostalgia and transcendence.

From the haze of Who Can You Trust? to the platinum heights of Big Calm, Morcheeba’s music has always lived in that sweet spot between serenity and groove. With over 10 million albums sold and a career marked by collaborations with David Byrne and Steven Soderbergh, the duo’s evolution continues with Escape the Chaos, a record that folds their trademark downtempo warmth into something cinematic and daring. Expect a setlist that dips into the past with The Sea, Otherwise, and Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day, while ushering in the future of a sound only Morcheeba can conjure.

Joining them is none other than James Lavelle, reviving UNKLE SOUNDS for a one-off Australian appearance. Lavelle’s return—his first since 2011—will be a masterclass in sonic storytelling, fusing deep cuts and dance-floor euphoria with immersive visuals. Known for his acclaimed Global Underground and Fabriclive mixes, Lavelle brings the spirit of club culture, film and art into a live experience that defies simple description.

Morcheeba’s February 2026 run—from Perth to Brisbane—will be a hypnotic reminder of how gracefully they’ve weathered time, still finding new ways to move hearts and minds through music that’s both timeless and vividly alive.
