London-based neo-grunge duo Exit Kid have shared their new single ‘Icarus’, the second single to be taken from their debut LP slated for release later this year.

Vocalist Emre Türkmen comments:

“Icarus is about our increasingly stubborn refusal to confront life in all its messiness. Instead, we chase a comfortable moral high-ground, forgetting the lessons of the past. Reality will always pull us back down to earth with a crash.”

A grunge inspired track thats tinted with sweetness courtesy of Türkmen’s vocals. Icarus has everything we come to expect and love from this duo who are masters at combining pop melodies with a harsh bite of fuzzy guitar.
