With a debut live show supporting the legendary A. Swayze & the Ghosts on 30 January, duo Isle Two are a band going places, and impress me greatly with their new single ‘Honey Go Home’. it’s a shimmering glowing track that skips along on a swirl of synths, a pattering percussion and razor sharp guitars.
Elements of the track remind me of that great French band Phoenix, with the yearning vocals, indelible melodies, a delicate layered instrumentation and scaling choruses. The anthemic delivery reveals a prodigious talent for song writing.
‘Honey Go Home’ is out today and you can get it through the link above and here.
Isle Two are Joe Vere and Jasper Szypura.
Isle Two perform live for the first time at the magnificent Altar Bar in Nipaluna/Hobart on 30 January, supporting no less than the legendary A. Swayze & the Ghosts . Detail below and tickets here.
