In a time when society continues to grapple with questions of identity, accountability, and emotional honesty, Indian-American singer-songwriter Jeeves enters the conversation with a deeply personal offering. His new single, “Where Did All The Good Men Go?”, is not just the long-awaited first track from his upcoming debut album Now or Never — it’s a vulnerable meditation on the search for male role models in a fractured world.

Written in 2017 during the cultural shift sparked by the #MeToo movement, the song has been nearly eight years in the making. The California-born artist, who describes his music as having a “brown sugar finish,” blends the lyrical intimacy and accessibility of Ed Sheeran with a more embellished, bedroom-pop feel and a sense of true emotional sincerity.

The warm and unguarded lead vocal glides above the backing of acoustic guitar, atmospheric swells, strings, and understated bass and drums. The result is a beautifully balanced track which keeps its heartfelt core intact whilst capturing a true commercial appeal.

“‘Where Did All The Good Men Go?’ is a song that’s eight years in the making,” Jeeves shares. “I almost didn’t release it because I was afraid of its vulnerability and honesty. But I healed parts of myself through its writing — and I hope it does the same for others. Music has the power to heal. This song captures the grief and yearning to see positive male role models, especially if you’ve grown up without them.”

Recorded in Nashville, the single features an elite ensemble of musicians. Produced by Grammy-nominated guitarist Charles Myers (Yebba), it includes powerhouse drummer Aaron Sterling, best known for his work with John Mayer, and a hauntingly beautiful string arrangement by Shaan Ramaprasad, whose credits include A.R. Rahman, Cher, 21 Savage, The Jonas Brothers, and Chance the Rapper. Together, they bring depth and dimension to a song that Jeeves himself nearly kept in the vault.

With the upcoming album Now or Never due in late 2025, Jeeves is set for a big end to the year.
