Stockholm based heavy rockers Lucifer have released the video for their new single, ‘A Coffin Has No Silver Lining (The Sistine Version)’ which is their first for new label Nuclear Blast Records. The song arrives just in time for Lucifer’s upcoming European shows with Ghost
The video directed by Emil Klinta features a few snippets from the recording session and some great super 8 footage of foggy trainyards with vintage railway carriages and locomotives as well as the band trying their luck at a selection of classic pinball machines, including – of course – a KISS one.
A riff-tastic down and dirty heavy track with Johanna Platow Andersson’s seductive vocals taking centre stage. Linus Björklund and Martin Nordin bounce off each other with their incendiary guitar tones over Nicke Andersson Platow’s relentless drum march. It’s a neat little package delivered with some classic rock attitude and some great playing.
