Look, I don’t want to say too much because you have to see this for yourself and if I really wrote a review I’d ruin any sort of genuine experience you might have. Suffice to say this video teeters on the brink between ridiculous and terrifying. It fucks with you at the outset and then there are some genuinely spooky and disquieting moments of violence and occultish appearance. And there’s a boiled egg, not treated in this way since Robert de Niro’s handling of one as Louis Cyphre in Angel Heart. It’s the ending that just about tips this into farce, however. Good old Frank Black, always game for a ‘laugh’.
