Always good to have new music from the brilliant Simian Mobile Disco, and a 20th anniversary is as good a reason as any. Dance label 2020vision has reached that milestone, and instead of looking back, they’re looking forward releasing a new compilation ‘Content’, mixed by Ralph Lawson and featuring 20 exclusive new original track and remixes from the likes of Cassy’s Raw mix of David Duriez’s Get on Down, Matthew Herbert taking on Maya Jane Coles‘ Senseless, and tracks from Eats Everything and Franck Roger.
Parsons nose is everything you’d want it to be – funky, wonky, moody, atmospheric dribbling techno that manages to cut straight through and swirl around at the same time. In fact, its everything that Simian Mobile Disco have an uncanny knack of doing.
