The Masters of Melancholy Black Dreams who’s current line-up features Juha Kraapo (vocals), Jari Rantanen (drums) and Sami Räikkönen (guitar), have returned from two year hiatus with a new single “Running Blood”.
The band comments:
“Running Blood is a story of a person who gets enough of the evilness of mankind and decides to abandon his God. Now his fate is in his own hands.”
The guys have created a great-sounding and well produced track here with the chugging guitars that dominate the track courtesy of Räikkönen who has laid down some cool guitar parts. Kraapo’s laid back vocal style along with the lyrics lend the track the melancholic vibe before Räikkönen melts your face with his sizzling guitar solo. Been a while since I’ve heard one this good.
