The Wanted Sisters (Cat Aimi and Savannah Gardner) have shared their brand new single ‘American Sunshine’, a joyous sentiment to the beauty of life, filled with southern harmonies and thunderous glee.
The song came about when Cat randomly described L.A born Savannah as American Sunshine one morning before a recording session.
She states:
“This sparked an idea about how amazing it feels to be having the most perfect day and we imagined driving across the States in an open top car and the song just appeared! We love how it’s impossible not to smile when we perform this song.”
Sounding like a slice glorious sunshine, the track is a hypnotic foot stomping acoustic barnstormer. The girls whip up a storm in true country style with gorgeous harmonies, a tickle of a fiddle and a danceable beat that stays with you long after the track has finished.
