Nigh/T\mare is the brainchild of Italian artist and producer Giuseppe Sciretti, who sets out to channel a unique blend of dark aesthetics, lush atmospherics, and techno beats, making for a distinct, direct, and forward-thinking feel. His music is deeply intertwined with his personal feelings and experiences, as he often uses his tracks as a way to share his stories and go through feelings of pain, anxiety, stress, and much more.

He signed his first EP for DVNTT in 2017 and has since released several works including V/A, EPs, and albums on Thrènes, Several Minor Promises, Forbidden Teachings, Kontralamakina, VùMantra, Depth Request, Ohm Resistence, Brutal Forms.. as well as remixes by Pact Infernal, Orphx, Killawatt, Alexey Volkov, Torn Relics, and others.

Forbidden Teachings is honoured to welcome back Nigh/T\mare for the release of his first full-length album on the label. Across ten carefully crafted pieces, “Through” channels the artist’ s singular sound, one that resonates through the bones and awakens what lies dormant within.

Through pain and despair, through love and hope, the album becomes a passage through impermanence itself, revealing the fragile veil that both binds and defines us. Can the soul ever truly break free, or are we destined to remain shaped by these shifting forces? “Through” offers no answers, only a mirror for those willing to look

Verdict: Booming drums, dark soundscapes and an all over sense of tension and dread, Dark to its core ‘Through‘ delivers an epic collection of heavy, Techno infused tracks all under a foreboding canopy of brooding clouds. The perfect musical accompaniment to the foretelling of the end of times.
