Another night of amazing music and great vibes all around at the Independent Venue in Sunderland. Three acts were on tonight. Maxine opened the night with her amazing voice, getting the whole crowd singing and dancing along to her music. I remember when I saw her at this very venue for the Afterdark gig and she just blew me away then with her magical voice.

The second act to perform was the Queen of Newcastle, the one and only Jamilah. Coming onto the stage and just owning the whole room and grabbing the crowd’s attention with her amazing voice and her vibe music.

The last act to perform was Scrannabis; this was his first time performing at the Independent and hopefully not the last after tonight’s musical masterclass. Giving it his all with his music closing the night on a high.
