You might have heard of Dan Dare from his work producing the likes of Charlie XCX, Wiley, Juelz Santana and Marina and the Diamonds. However, now he’s teamed up with Australian singer producer Yeah Boy, who’s seen success with Parachute Youth as Kolidescopes.
With new track, Memory Lane, the pair have covered all summer bases, even before its begun. There’s splashes and waves of electronica as it’s laid back house beat gives it just enough to be a dancefloor come down, or an early morning beach soundtrack. Swathed in warm synths and with Yeah Boys vocal melting through the mix, it could be the first big tune of the Summer, and its still only (just) June.
