In case you were wondering, they are talking about psilocybin, magic mushrooms, and it’s where one of London’s more esoteric bands found their name. Moksha Medicine. In the short time they’ve been together the band have built a reputation for tumultuous live shows that has seen them share the bill with the likes of Lola Colt.

There is a definite influence from Eastern music in their sound, but don’t be fooled into thinking this is some kind of hippy shit, these guys have a raw side to their mix the tripped out vibes are revved up with elements of surf, like Dick Dale on acid, or Mamas and Pappas carving an A frame, depending on where you are catching the view from. With the release of their first official single ‘Spindle Thief’ on September 15^th, it’s time for Moksha Medicine to step out of the shadows and enter the lives of us all.
