New Music: Native People – Don’t Save Me

Kent indie four piece Native People have unveiled a new single, titled Don’t Save Me which comes out on January 22nd as part of Killing Moon’s January Compilation Album. The band are still very much in their youth, boasting two 18 year olds amongst their ranks, but have managed to craft something that is actually spectacularly catchy.

Taking inspiration from the likes of Friendly Fires and Two Door Cinema Club, Don’t Save Me is the kind of synth tinged indie fare that stutters and jerks along, the delicious bassline skipping over the strong beats of the music and giving it this off kilter feeling as the synths wash over the top of everything. This will make your life better. Seriously.
