Ashnikko is heading back to Australia this September, but this time they are returning to take centre stage. Following an arena run supporting Billie Eilish earlier this year, the US pop provocateur will bring the Smoochies Tour to five Australian cities as part of a wider Australia and New Zealand run.
Presented by MG Live and Frontier Touring, the tour begins at Auckland Town Hall on September 16 before crossing the Tasman for its Australian opening at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre with Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth following.
The return comes after Ashnikko spent the early part of 2026 playing to Australian arena crowds as support for Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft tour. This time, audiences get the full Ashnikko production and a catalogue that has become considerably larger since ‘Stupid’ first exploded through TikTok in 2019.
That track, featuring Baby Tate, provided the breakthrough, but Ashnikko quickly proved there was more happening than a viral moment. The 2021 mixtape Demidevil delivered ‘Daisy’ and the Princess Nokia collaboration ‘Slumber Party’, helping establish their collision of pop, rap, electronic music and deliberately provocative imagery.
At this point, the numbers surrounding Ashnikko are substantial: more than 3.9 billion global streams and 700 million video views, alongside festival appearances at Reading & Leeds, Bonnaroo, Mad Cool and NOS Alive and a headline performance at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
There is another side to their career that is less immediately visible. Ashnikko has also written for other artists, including co-writing Doja Cat’s ‘Boss Bitch’, alongside songwriting work connected with Brooke Candy, Tomorrow X Together and Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon.
