Marking the arrival of their latest sonic sermon, ‘Forgiveness Is Yours,’ the UK’s most thrilling misfits, Fat White Family, are making a long-awaited return to Australia this December. For the first time since 2019, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane will bear witness to their chaotic brilliance.

‘Every time we make an album, we swear to ourselves this is our last. Nothing can be worth that pain, that misery. Then a bunch of people show up at the gigs. They cheer. They approve. They offer us something resembling love. Our vanity thus restored, we quickly begin toying with the notion of yet another instalment… By purchasing tickets to see this band live, you are responsible for maintaining that delicate, elegant equilibrium… Love, passion, fear, scorn, love, passion, fear, scorn, love, passion, fear, scorn… Do the right thing then. Keep us in our place. Forever’ – Lias Saoudi

Hailing from South London, Fat White Family carved out a reputation as the twisted darlings of the underground, blending post-punk sneer with the kind of debauchery that makes rock ‘n’ roll worth saving. Their music is a brutal cocktail of raw aggression and sly satire, a soundtrack for the disillusioned and the defiant.

The band is made up of Lias Saoudi, the magnetic frontman whose snarling vocals and wild stage presence are as unpredictable as they are captivating. Nathan Saoudi, Lias’s brother, adds a sinister layer with his keys, his organ work haunting and hypnotic. Adam J. Harmer, on guitars, Adam Brennan on bass, Alex White on sax and Sam Toms on drums complete the line-up.

Tickets will go on sale Wednesday 28 August (12pm local time) via frontiertouring.com/fatwhitefamily.

Frontier Members presale begins Monday 26 August (12pm local time) – see website for full info.
