More than two decades after helping redefine British music, Dizzee Rascal is heading back to Australia this summer, bringing his We Want Bass tour to local stages alongside a powerhouse lineup featuring Example, Arrdee and Swaglord Savannah on selected dates.

The tour promises a career-spanning celebration of one of the UK’s most influential artists, with fans set to hear era-defining anthems including Bonkers, Dance Wiv Me, Holiday and Fix Up, Look Sharp alongside the high-octane energy that has become synonymous with Dizzee Rascal’s live shows.

Since emerging from East London in the early 2000s, Dizzee Rascal has become one of the defining figures in British music. Widely regarded as one of the pioneers of grime, the rapper and producer helped push UK hip hop beyond its underground roots, blending grime, UK garage, bassline and R&B into a sound that would reshape the country’s musical landscape and pave the way for a new generation of artists.

His influence has stretched far beyond the grime scene. From the Mercury Prize-winning Boy in da Corner to a run of chart-dominating singles that crossed into mainstream pop without sacrificing their edge, Dizzee Rascal became the first British rapper to achieve sustained international success while remaining firmly connected to the culture that shaped him.

Joining him on the Australian run is fellow UK hitmaker Example, whose catalogue of dancefloor anthems has made him one of Britain’s most successful crossover artists, alongside fast-rising rapper Arrdee, whose sharp lyricism and charismatic delivery have established him as one of the UK’s brightest new voices. Selected shows will also feature Australian artist Swaglord Savannah, completing a lineup that spans multiple generations of UK and Australian hip hop.
