Felix Rockey unveils ‘Old New Feelings’, a rock-infused love song inspired by heartbreak, memories and the intensity of falling in love for a second time.
Written more than two years ago following the end of a significant relationship, the single reflects on Felix’s second experience of falling in love and the lasting impression it left on him.
“I wrote this song over two years ago, following a heartbreak. That relationship left a deep impression on me because it was the second time I’d fallen in love, the second time I’d felt that intense energy.”
Blending rock energy with heartfelt lyrics, ‘Old New Feelings’ explores love, freedom and reciprocity from the perspective of a young adult. Felix also hopes the track will encourage listeners to reconnect with their own memories and moments of happiness.
“Through its rock energy and heartfelt lyrics, I aim to transport the listener into their own memories and help them recall sweet, happy moments.”
The single marks a new step in Felix’s musical journey, with the musicians who accompany him on stage recording their respective instruments for the first time on one of his releases, bringing a more collective energy to the track.

‘Old New Feelings’ is released on 2 October 2026, with its music video following on 9 October. Shot between London and Paris, the video was directed by one of Felix’s best friends, a film student, and reflects both his French-British background and the influences behind the song. London scenes highlight his connection to British rock, while the Paris sequences explore the romantic story at the heart of the track.
The video is Felix’s first, offering a more personal and visual introduction to his artistry.
“‘Old New Feelings’ is my first music video, and through the imagery I want to show a new side of myself – a more sensitive and human side. For me, this video is an opportunity to introduce my musical and visual world to a wider audience.”
A 20-year-old French singer based in Paris, Felix Rockey draws inspiration from artists including The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Michael Jackson and Earth, Wind & Fire. He began playing guitar at nine and blends elegant pop with bright energy and London-inspired influences.
His debut EP, ‘Eos’, was recorded in 2025 and released independently in February 2026, with Felix writing the lyrics and playing all the instruments himself. With ‘Old New Feelings’, he now enters a new chapter, turning a personal experience of heartbreak into a song about the memories and emotions that remain.
