Future Islands will be heading to Australia and New Zealand for their first shows since 2017! The Baltimore quartet of Gerrit Welmers, Michael Lowry, Samuel T. Herring and William Cashion will be performing songs from their latest album, ‘As Long As You Are’ alongside favourites from across their career during the tour, which is set to take place in February 2023.

The band has said that ‘As Long As You Are’ looks to the past as well as the future, confronting old ghosts and embracing a new hope. It is an album about trust, full of honesty, redemption and “letting go”, allowing old wounds to heal and bringing painful chapters to a close.
