Greet The Chief releases new EP Same Planet, Different Worlds. The six-track project showcases a blend of indie punk and alternative rock, continuing the artist’s established approach of combining distorted guitars, energetic arrangements, and melodic vocal hooks.

Across the EP, Greet The Chief focuses on direct, high-impact songwriting. Tracks such as ‘Back For More’ open with immediate intensity and driving guitar work, while ‘Fire Water’ introduces expanded instrumentation including brass and melodic bass elements. ‘Up To The Light’ adds layered, textured guitar lines with a more experimental punk influence.

“Authenticity is at the heart of my work,” the artist shares. “What you hear is what you get”

Greet The Chief is the solo project of Gavin Davies, a UK-based musician known for a gritty indie rock style. The project has received UK and international radio play, playlist support, podcast features, and press coverage. Recording takes place at Giant Audio studio in Derbyshire, where Davies works with long-term collaborator Dave Oliffe, who handles production, mixing, and mastering.

Davies previously performed in bands including The Roads, Future Roads, Jooba Jooba, and Jericho Scream, gaining touring experience and media attention. The Roads track ‘Hear No Evil’ was also featured on a Play Magazine cover CD highlighting UK unsigned artists.

Same Planet, Different Worlds follows a self-titled release and continues the project’s focus on combining raw energy with melodic songwriting and alternative rock influences.
