Inferno Festival 2023 unleash Emperor, Watain, Wayfarer, Ruun

Inferno Festival 2023 just got a whole lot bigger and juicier with the latest announcement of the mighty Emperor, Swedish Watain and more.

The masters of Norwegian Black Metal, Emperor, will bring a very special gig to Inferno 2023 so strap yourself in and make sure you are in attendance as this will be an event not to be missed. Emperor are one of the most influential bands, and true godfathers, of the Norwegian Black metal scene and with an extensive back catalogue to draw upon, their slot at Inferno is sure to be legendary in every sense of the word.

One of Black metals most notorious and ferocious bands, Watain, will be bringing their infamous live show and 25-year history to Inferno 2023. With their greatly anticipated seventh studio album, Watain continue to astound with their unique brand of uncompromising and brutal black metal, and this will be no different when they grace us with their presence in Oslo next April.

Black metal of the American wild west will be delivered to us at Inferno 2023 courtesy of wayfarer who will tell their tales with dust laden riffing, fierce rhythms, harsh bellows and broken song from the gothic americana of Colorado. Make sure you are there to greet these transatlantic black arts conjurers as it will be their first time at Inferno festival

Time to inject some brutal death metal into the inferno line up and this comes courtesy of Ruun, a death metal trio from Honefoss, Norway. This will be Ruun’s first appearance at Inferno and the first of many I hope.

The Clarion Hotel The Hub is the official festival hotel for the Inferno Metal Festival 2023.

The Inferno family: audience and artists, media and music industry will gather at the official festival hotel Clarion The Hub for happenings, partying, and a good night’s sleep.
