We’ve long been admirers of the dynamic force of nature that is Sicilian band CLUSTERSUN and their last release we covered was their album ‘Avalanche’ back in 2021, which we called a magnificent and stunning piece of visceral, raw and thunderous gothic shoegaze.
They are back at last and it seems time has not let the sparks die out. Their new single ‘Fire! Fire! Fire!’ does just what is says on the label: a fiery tornado that tears through your senses like a blowtorch, filled with relentless energy and power that is both eviscerating and cathartic.
This burning emissary was written apparently at the end of the ‘Avalanche’ sessions and has become a live favourite: and the reasons are clear. Like a runaway freight train without brakes, this is a powerful explosion of a track: intense and indelible, relentless. It’s good to have them back.
The track comes with a searing video created by CLUSTERSUN drummer Andrea Conti: a psychedelic blast:
The new track heralds a new album – ‘Anti You’, due for release on March 05th 2027 via Sister 9 Recordings (UK) and Vina Records (ITA).
CLUSTERSUN have been confirmed to play Blaze Festival in Copenhagen, Denmark on March 5th, alongside The KVB, Maquiña, Winona Riders etc, with more dates to be announced soon.
