Blues on Broadbeach is turning up the heat for Kurrawa Park Sunday, locking in Australian rock icon Jimmy Barnes for a one-off performance of his classic Soul Deep album. Set for Sunday, May 18, the set will see Barnes dive into his R&B-fuelled tribute to soul legends, delivering When Something Is Wrong with My Baby, I Gotcha, River Deep – Mountain High, and more.

Soul Deep is one of Barnes’ most beloved albums, a homage to the great classics of R&B featuring a series of timeless hits, including When Something Is Wrong With My Baby, I Gotcha, and River Deep Mountain High. The album hit #1 in Australia when released in 1991 and became the country’s highest selling album of 1992’s, winning two ARIA awards.

With 24 years under its belt, Blues on Broadbeach is one of Australia’s largest music festivals, stretching across multiple venues from May 15 to 18, 2025, and showcasing a world-class mix of international and homegrown blues, rock, and soul artists.

Barnes joins an already stacked lineup featuring The Cruel Sea, Eli Paperboy Reed, Diesel, Bondi Cigars, The Harlem Gospel Travelers, and many more. And there’s still more to come, with a second lineup drop on the way.

Blues, rock, soul, and one of Australia’s greatest frontmen—it’s all happening on the Gold Coast this May.
