News: NAVINA Shares Delicate New Single ‘Rain’

Indie-folk riser NAVINA returns with her latest single ‘Rain’. The singer-songwriter and producer delivers a stirring, emotionally resonant track that captures the turbulence of anxiety while offering a sense of release through surrender.

Bringing lo-fi clicky drums and finger picked guitars under the whispery lead vocals the track uses a sound-pallet similar to John Martyn whilst leaning into a songwriting approach as comparable to Phoebe Bridgers as it is Bon Iver. As the track grows it gradually introduces subtle, reverb soaked piano and off kilter drums before flourishing into a fully formed band. Delicate, emotionally sincere and effortlessly beautiful, the track is a masterclass in restraint and gradually building soundscapes.

Rather than resisting overwhelming feelings, ‘Rain’ leans into them, reframing anxiety not as something to battle, but something to move through. Her imagery is striking—storms, oceans, and rainfall become metaphors for inner turbulence, ultimately resolving in a sense of clarity and connection.

Already supported by major platforms including BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 and BBC Asian Network as well as Spotify’s New Music Friday, NAVINA is still building momentum with each new release.
