News: PNAU announce regional Australian tour alongside new collaboration

PNAU have always treated collaboration like a kind of controlled chaos — pairing left-field instincts with global reach — and their latest move might be one of their most unexpected yet. On new single ‘Tu Corazón (Your Heart)’, they link up with The Warning, folding rock muscle into their widescreen dance production.

The result is less collision, more lift-off. ‘Tu Corazón’ pulses with warmth, a track built around openness and connection, threading the trio’s polished electronic instincts through the raw edge of The Warning’s sound. It’s a collaboration that’s been quietly in the works for years — dating back to a chance meeting in Mexico when the Villarreal sisters were still teenagers uploading covers online.

Now, that early spark lands as something fully formed, arriving alongside a vibrant video shot in Monterrey, directed by Alberto ‘AJ’ Gomez and brought to life by a cast of local collaborators. It’s a visual that leans into colour, movement and community — mirroring the track’s core message of opening outward rather than closing in.

The release also sets the tone for PNAU’s next move: a regional Australian tour that feels deliberately off the beaten path. Dubbed the Nirvana tour, it kicks off in Cairns before cutting through Townsville, Airlie Beach, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Toowoomba, Byron Bay, Coffs Harbour, Shoal Bay, Newcastle and Gosford — a run that trades capital-city scale for something more immediate.

It’s a fitting route for a group that started in Sydney’s rave underground before expanding into global orbit. From early cuts like ‘Embrace’ and ‘Go Bang’ to the streaming juggernaut of ‘Cold Heart’ with Elton John and Dua Lipa, PNAU have built a catalogue that moves easily between club culture and mainstream pop.

Recent collaborations with MEDUZA and Kungs have only reinforced that reach, but ‘Tu Corazón’ feels different — less about scale, more about connection. A reminder that even at their biggest, PNAU still operate on instinct.

With a first-ever Mexico show on the horizon and a second regional tour run already in the works, the message is clear: this isn’t a victory lap. It’s expansion — in every direction at once.
