News: NYC Duo Fcukers Announce Intimate Side Shows Following Laneway Festival Debut

NYC duo Fcukers are set to make their highly anticipated return to Australia this February, bringing their 2025-ready, club-driven sound to the Laneway Festival lineup. Alongside their festival sets, they’ll deliver two intimate side shows in Eora/Sydney and Naarm/Melbourne. Renowned for their bold, genre-blurring style that reinvents ’90s dance, the duo have earned a reputation for turning every performance into a party.

Helmed by Shanny Wise and Jackson Walker Lewis, Fcukers exploded onto the scene with their debut EP Baggy$$. The release is a heady mix of old-school house, breakbeat, and electronica—music that feels like it’s been mopped up from the sticky floors of a sweaty club. This isn’t nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake; it’s dance music with its foot firmly on the accelerator, offering something both fresh and thrillingly familiar.

Fcukers first caught wider attention in Aus after performing at SXSW Sydney in 2023 and have since gone on to rack up an impressive list of achievements. They’re set to play iconic festivals like Primavera Sound, having shared the stage with industry heavyweights like LCD Soundsystem, and delivering a breakout Boiler Room set in San Francisco alongside JPEGMAFIA. Along the way, they’ve supported Confidence Man on their UK tour, joined Dom Dolla at a sold-out Forest Hills Stadium show, and caught the eye of Celine’s Hedi Slimane, who invited them to DJ at Paris Fashion Week.

While Fcukers are set to dominate Laneway Festival this summer, their two side shows are where you’ll get a chance to see it all up close. They’ll hit Mary’s Underground in Eora/Sydney on February 11th and The Night Cat in Naarm/Melbourne on February 13th, with Sex Mask and DJ Ivan Berko. Tickets are available here.
