Cameroonian-born music star Olivier Cheuwa has just unveiled his latest single, ‘MAMA LE’. With its captivating melodies and poignant lyrics, Cheuwa’s newest creation resonates deeply, celebrating the sacrifices and strength of love in a way that is both universal and personal.

Cheuwa’s musical journey began in his teenage years when he discovered his passion for music and joined the choir. His talent quickly propelled him onto the international stage, where he performed at music festivals and concerts across the globe. A significant milestone in his career was premiering alongside Maggie Blanchard, a pioneer of French-speaking Gospel music, in concerts held in France and Belgium. Additionally, Cheuwa gained further recognition when he participated in The Voice of Switzerland in 2014.

‘”‘MAMA LE’ stands out not only for its heartfelt vocals but also for its emotive musical direction by SEYSEY, creating a powerful auditory experience. The song marks a significant step for Cheuwa, as it is performed in his second official language and showcases his versatility as an artist. This track, with its afrobeats influence, positions Cheuwa as a rising star in a genre that is relatively new to him.

Discussing the inspiration behind ‘MAMA LE’ Cheuwa shared: “I wanted to create something that could connect with the afrobeats audience, tapping right into the wave of the world with the right messages. Not only celebrating a love so unique but also serving a message so powerful.”

The music video for ‘MAMA LE’, directed by the outstanding Tariebi Joel, was shot in Lagos, Nigeria, adding a vibrant and authentic backdrop to the song’s emotive narrative.

Fans can now experience Olivier Cheuwa’s compelling artistry as ‘MAMA LE’ is available on all major streaming platforms. This latest release not only cements his place in the music industry but also highlights his ability to bridge cultural and musical divides, making him an artist to watch closely in the evolving afrobeats scene.
