Brisbane four-piece Radium Dolls have steadily built a profile through consistent touring and a growing catalogue of direct, guitar-driven songs. Made up of William Perkins, Thomas Perkins, Ewan Day and Bryce Equinox, the band draw on familiar Australian rock structures while grounding their work in clear storytelling and tight musicianship.
Radium Dolls first released their debut EP Bel-Haven in 2020, which helped establish them on the local circuit and led to support slots with artists including Ruby Fields, The Grogans, Civic and Floodlights. Their follow-up EP, All Doll’d Up, marked a step forward in reach, accompanied by their first headline tour and the single Tractor Parts, which has since passed one million streams.
In March 2024, the band released their debut album Legal Speed. The record received national radio support and a Queensland Album of the Year nomination, further consolidating the band’s position within the contemporary Australian rock landscape.
Attention has since extended beyond Australia, with international tastemakers beginning to take note. Radium Dolls are now preparing to release their second album, Wound Up, alongside a confirmed SXSW showcase and their first US tour in March. It marks a natural progression for a band that has focused on gradual growth rather than rapid expansion.
