Robyn has announced her ninth studio album, Sexistential, set for global release on 27 March 2026. The record marks a new chapter for one of pop’s most influential figures, arriving after the introspective club focus of 2018’s Honeyand reconnecting with the direct, emotionally charged pop that defined her Body Talk era.
Comprised of nine tracks, Sexistential is described by Robyn as her most ecstatic work to date. Co-produced primarily with longtime collaborator Klas Åhlund, the album is concise, playful and assertive, leaning into punchy songwriting while foregrounding themes of pleasure, vulnerability and self-knowledge. Robyn has likened the album’s energy to a sudden return to earth, a creative reset shaped by lived experience rather than distance or abstraction.
The announcement arrives alongside two new tracks, ‘Talk To Me’ and the album’s title song, following the release of lead single ‘Dopamine’. ‘Talk To Me’, produced by Åhlund and Oscar Holter and co-written with Max Martin, channels classic pop-funk influences through contemporary production. The title track, meanwhile, is characteristically fearless, expanding Robyn’s lyrical territory while reinforcing her long-standing commitment to honesty and personal perspective.
Robyn is set to perform the title track on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, continuing a run of high-profile appearances that have fuelled anticipation around her return.
Sexistential will be released across multiple formats including LP, deluxe LP, CD, cassette and digital, with several vinyl variants available. With recent performances, collaborations and cultural moments keeping her firmly in the public eye, Robyn’s latest announcement confirms a return that feels considered, confident and firmly her own.
