Soccer Mommy is heading back down under this June for her first Australian headline tour since 2023, and she’s armed with shimmering heartbreak anthems, razor-sharp lyrics, and the dreamy melancholia that’s become her signature.
The tour will see the Nashville-born indie hero hit the Torquay Hotel on June 14, the Theatre Royal in Castlemaine on June 15, and wrap things up in the west at Perth’s Rosemount Hotel on June 20. In between, she’s set to appear at three of Australia’s most beloved festivals: Vivid Sydney, RISING Melbourne, and Open Season Brisbane — meaning your chances to catch her just tripled.
It’s been a wild ascent for Sophia Allison, the artist behind Soccer Mommy — from DIY beginnings on Orchid Tapes with 2016’s For Young Hearts to 2024’s critically adored Evergreen, her most lush and layered work to date. Since her breakout Clean (2018), she’s become a Gen Z songwriting icon, touring with everyone from Mitski and Phoebe Bridgers to Slowdive, Paramore, and Vampire Weekend. She’s no stranger to big stages — but it’s the intimacy of her songwriting, and the rawness of her live sets, that keeps fans coming back for more.
Expect heartbreak. Expect beauty. Expect to leave a little more wrecked than you arrived.
