News: Suffolk Duo Jaded Teeth Share Warming New Single ‘Lamb’

Suffolk-based indie-folk duo Jaded Teeth return with their emotive third release, ‘Lamb’—a tender, soul-stirring single that showcases the band’s distinctive blend of accomplished guitar work, poetic lyricism, and understated intimacy. Capturing a soundscape reminiscent of Boygenius and Ethel Cain, the track continues to solidify their reputation for crafting music that is both thematically personal and musically mature.

Infused with elements of country and folk, ‘Lamb’ highlights the delicate dynamic between band leaders, vocalist Indigo Spooner and guitarist Jack Stanton, whose synergy brings to life stories of growth, self-reflection, and emotional upheaval. Musically bringing a rich guitar led soundscape which touches on elements of indie-folk and country, the bands create a warming and elegant sound. Topped with the heartfelt vocal delivery and beautifully placed harmonies, the tracks melancholic lyricism is matched by the intimate delivery.

Thematically, the single is an ode to the quiet moments of coming-of-age—nurturing your past self while learning to shoulder the responsibilities of adulthood.

Speaking on the new track, the duo shares:
“This song means a lot to us as a band, it’s an expression of the loss that comes with growth and is very symbolic of the emotional turmoil that is navigating your early twenties, something we’ve all experienced. We recorded this at Hunterclub Arts Centre in their new studio with Barney Cutter. I think this was the fourth song we wrote together, so it’s a relic in our set and we’re so excited to have it out.”

Since winning Bury Sound 2024, Jaded Teeth have been steadily making waves with their heartfelt storytelling and understated charm. With lyrics touching on themes of religion, childhood, romance, and heartbreak, they’ve quickly earned a name for themselves in the local scene.
