News: Wunder Beta Shines On ‘Sol e Anoitecer’

WUNDER BETA leans into her Brazilian roots on new single ‘Sol e Anoitecer’ (Sun and Dusk).

Already gaining traction across the underground scene, the track is the third to be taken from her forthcoming debut EP Love You To Beats and showcases her distinctive Electro-Bossa style.

Blending the syncopated rhythms of Bossa Nova with modern electronic production, ‘Sol e Anoitecer’ offers a shimmering ode to romance. Swirling synths, dreamy melodies and intricate beats bridge the sunlit warmth of Rio de Janeiro with the nocturnal pulse of London. Sung in Portuguese, the song transcends language barriers, evoking the golden glow of love’s first spark.

Speaking about the song, WUNDER BETA explains:

“Sol e Anoitecer is about that unexpected moment you realise you’re falling in love. Everything slows down and sharpens at the same time — like the sky melting from orange to purple. It’s warm, golden, and just a little surreal, like watching the sunset from inside your own chest.”

Raised in Ipanema, she composed the track on classical guitar in the tradition of the late 1950s Bossa Nova greats before layering it with synthesisers, beats and contemporary textures. This fusion is emblematic of her Electro-Bossa sound, which threads throughout her upcoming EP. Love You To Beats will span four tracks, each combining pop hooks, electronic layers and Brazilian rhythmic science, with whirling organ lines and classical guitar weaving through a kaleidoscope of electronic soundscapes.

Outside of music, WUNDER BETA has built a multidisciplinary career. After moving from Brazil to the UK, she co-founded the BAFTA Award-winning video game studio Bossa Games, launched a wearable art brand, and created a podcast exploring human curiosity. She has been named one of Forbes’ Top 50 Women in Tech and included in the Evening Standard’s list of the most influential people in creative arts, with features on BBC News, Sky News and Disney Channel.

With Sol e Anoitecer now released, WUNDER BETA continues to expand her artistic language, using her lightning bolt emblem as a symbol for bridging cultures, emotions and communities through music.
