Zara Larsson’s already red-hot Australian tour has just added some local firepower, with Sydney duo Cat & Calmell joining the Midnight Sun tour for DJ sets across Australia and New Zealand this October.
The announcement lands as Live Nation confirms a final release of limited tickets for selected shows in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Sydney and Auckland, going on sale Tuesday, September 29 at 3pm local time. Brisbane’s two Riverstage dates and Larsson’s first Sydney show at the Hordern Pavilion remain sold out.
Cat & Calmell are becoming increasingly familiar faces alongside some of pop’s biggest names. Since breaking through with dumbshit in 2020, the pair have clocked more than 120 million streams, sold out their own Australian headline shows and supported Dua Lipa, Camila Cabello, KATSEYE and Reneé Rapp.
Backseat Mafia caught Cat & Calmell supporting Rapp earlier this year, where their sharp pop instincts and irrepressible energy made them far more than a warm-up act. This time they’re switching things up with DJ sets designed to get the room moving before Larsson takes over.
They arrive off the back of mixtape LIVE LAUGH COOL STAR, a release that pushed the duo further into their self-described collision of neo-indie-sleaze, trap and pop. The title track spent five consecutive weeks inside triple j’s three most-played tracks, while their second Like A Version also picked up considerable attention.
Larsson, meanwhile, arrives in Australia with the Midnight Sun era operating at full throttle. The Swedish pop star has spent 2026 with three tracks on the Billboard Hot 100, including the resurgent Lush Life, Midnight Sun and her PinkPantheress collaboration Stateside.
The tour begins with two sold-out nights at Brisbane’s Riverstage on October 13 and 14 before moving through Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, then crossing the Tasman for two Auckland shows.
