Premiere: Melbourne’s The Silversound break away from the pack as they unveil edgy, retro video clip for second single, ‘Wolf’.

We are very pleased to announce the brand new video clip for Melbourne supergroup, The Silversound.

In a world full of continuing turmoil and uncertainty, The Silversound have revealed the full clip for Wolf, a song that was borne from extended periods of lockdown, and which phases its’ way in and out of your grey matter, taunting you as it tightens a claustrophobic grip on your sense of reality.

Inventive use of old film footage in both colour and black & white sync hypnotically with the band’s muscular psychedelia, further laying the platform for the story within. A mesmerizing, fuzzed-up riff and chugging rhythm underpin the impending sense of paranoia laid down in the lyrics, before slowly unveiling a howling of guitars which actuate the fact that that wolf might actually be at your door.

As I have previously mentioned, the first two singles, Shaker and Wolf, have definitely got me drooling with anticipation for the release of the full album. It is released on Cheersquad Records and Tapes on March 24.
