BSM brings you the premiere of the new video from Rhys Bloodjoy. He unleashes the video to ‘Vividsection’, taken from his latest album, The Chaos In Veins.
For the uninitiated, Rhys Bloodjoy is a one man noise machine, using sophisticated loops, echo drenched harmonies and reverb soaked melodies to create a truly alternative style of psychedelia. Dubbed by the Manchester Evening News as “lo-fi brilliance”, the Bloodjoy experience was born in the underground scene in 2014 and Rhys has since gained in strength and stature, honing his sound to create soundscapes that result in electrifying live performances.
The new album was originally developed as a musical accompaniment to “Vividsection” (a series of artworks by Dangerosa) from which the song shares it’s title and concept: the idea of a distorted reality in which the human existence is mined and dissected to produce colour.
The album is available both digitally and as a Deluxe Edition 2 CD Set containing every Bloodjoy release to date (all newly remastered) plus 6 CD-only bonus tracks. More details here
