If one EP and near a full year of touring wasn’t enough, Against The Current have more aces up their sleeve. Two more EPs are on the way before the year is out consisting of an acoustic version of the ‘Infinity’ EP and a brand new EP titled ‘Gravity’. They’ve just released the music video and download for the title track from the upcoming new EP ‘Gravity’ and it’s easily the best song they’ve released so far. I’ve loved everything up to this point and it’s great to see them progress so much in the space of a year.

The rhythms are intricate and satisfying, the melody and rhythm of the vocals are brilliant and the guitar parts are both well written and performed. All of this combines to make a song that is highly addictive and easily builds up an equal mix of excitement and impatience for the full EP that will be released in December. Over multiple listens it never once loses its impact and the chorus has a great punch to it that really does hook you in. With a few musical surprises too it’s a rewarding listen and one that will have you loving the band more.

Chrissy, Dan and Will have put there all into this and it’s clear through every beat of every bar. Their performances through it all prove that they really are a band to keep a keen eye on. They know what they’re doing and they’re doing it brilliantly.
