See: Dinosaur Pile-up reveal new video for “11:11”

Ahead of their forthcoming album ‘Eleven Eleven’, and following tour supporting Brand New around the Uk and Europe, three piece rockers Dinosaur Pile-Up have released a video for the title track. It serves as a reminder to all their fans both what they’re capable of, and what they’ve been missing in the two years since previous album ‘Nature Nurture’.

Having just completed a tour supporting Brand New around the UK and Europe, Dinosaur Pile-Up are pleased to present their new music video for rip-roaring single ’11:11’. The track is the very first music to be unveiled from the trio’s highly anticipated third album ‘Eleven Eleven,’ which is set for release through SO Recordings later this year. Vocalist / guitarist Matt Bigland explains “I guess 11:11 as a song was the accumulative result of touring solidly for like a year. So we wanted to show that in the video. We had a bunch of footage from touring the USA, tours with Brand New and MC Rut, touring Europe, playing on high rise roof tops, Japan, India. So we wanted to kind of show that journey I guess. We put a lot of energy into that year, and we had the best time doing it. It was a mix of exhaustion and experiences we’ll never forget so we wanted to join that last year to the new chapter of the band.”

Its full of dark, intense riffs and attitude, but still has the muscular and pulsating rock sound the band have traded on in the past. It begins with these angular guitar lines and splashes of drums before launching into things, Matt Biglands vocal almost seeming matter of fact next to its visceral accompaniment. As usual though, Dinosaur Pile Up go in heavy on the melody front, making for something exciting but memorable.

Hold on, their time may be nigh.

Catch the band over the summer at:
20th June – Kopparberg Urban Forest, London
25th July – Off The Cuff Festival, Birmingham
10th-13th September – Bestival, Isle of Wight
