See: International Teachers of Pop release new track ‘Flood the Club’ to support independent venue

International Teachers of Pop have released a new single to raise funds for Hebden Bridge venue The Trades Club.

Flood the Club is taken from their upcoming second album, Pop Gossip, which is set for release on 28th August via their label Desolate Spools.

All proceeds made from the download of the new single will go straight to the upkeep of the venue in these trying times.

Weird, winding synths give way to something dark but still with the usual ITOP melodic charm, albeit insistent – even demanding in its repetitive mantra.

Watch ‘Flood The Club‘ below:

Speaking about the track, group member Adrian Flanagan examines:

“It’s a bit darker than our usual electro-pop fare, the track envisions a dystopian world of clubbing that’s very clean, nightclubs with their sprinklers on all night, taps overflowing on to the dance floor.”
