Out right now is the new single, Time Machine, from London quartet Itchy Teeth available via Fourtwenty records. It’s the prequel for the bands debut album – due out mid-summer. The band claim they aimed for the likes of Jonathan Richman & The Modern Lovers or The Flaming Lips with he recording, and certainly there’s a sense of the kitsch psychedelia about Time Machine, but you can also throw in the sort of riffs and swagger of Oasis (no, really), and a splash of Julian Cope as well. Berst of all though is its irresistibly catchy melody, chorus, little guitar riffs. Basically everything. We love it.
