Taken from their forthcoming album Hello Friends, due out in October comes the new single from Juju Wings, Escapism 101. It’s the second in a series of single releases taken from the album, and calls on an unspecified partner to enlist on an adventure.
It’s this dreamy slice of electronic / synth pop, with synth-lines that buzz and pop and whirr in turn to these delightfully melodic tunes. Vocals are cut up and used / repeated in the track, giving it these slightly psychedelic overtones.
Of the accompanying visuals, the band say The video was shot during happy times on the Pacific islands of Tahiti (Tahiti, Moorea & Fakarava) during the Hokulea festival in 2017.
