See: Mura Masa reveals video for What If I Go?

The British youngster Mura Masa’s rise has been steady and steep. Only releasing his debut EP Someday Somewhere last year, he’s already preparing us all for his debut album, which will be released on his own label Anchor Point Records, with his second single.

From the stuff we’ve heard, we can easily label Mura Masa as one of the most exciting up-and-comers. Singles with Shura (Love For That) and Bonzai (What If I Go?) both sound amazing, fresh and they beautifully blend electronic production and catchy pop-y hooks.

The latter’s video was released a few days ago, directed by Yoni Lappin and shot on a 16mm film. Mura Masa’s soft synths and Bonzai’s soulful vocals fittingly soundtrack wonderful shots of couples in love. Stills and short videos intertwine, forming a collage of flirty moments and NSFWish endeavours.

This young generation has a lot to offer. We’re super-excited.
