At first glance, Vukovi may seem loud, intimidating, and a little bit intense, but underneath the glitter and guitar riffs you’ll realise they’re just as weird as you are. The Scottish neon-rockers have just shared a behind-the-scenes look at the making of their debut album, bringing you into their recording studios and showing you how the masterpiece was put together.
Lead singer Janine tells us: “If you want to see the real Vukovi behind the glitter and riffs then this video pretty much captures that. A bunch of f**k**g weirdos.” She’s not wrong; within seconds you’ll see her trying to introduce the video, welcoming you into the first day of pre-production, only to be gracefully interrupted by the album’s producers Bruce Rintoul and Nick Lawrie.
At one point you’ll overhear: “you guys are fucking losers” and, well, they’re the best losers I know of. Vukovi are a fun band, constantly amazed at their own success and sincerely grateful to anyone who has helped them along the way. So this video was a little gift to you, the fans, inviting you into the world of Vukovi for a 6 and a half minutes to help you feel closer to that band with the glittering songs and fierce live shows.
