New single/EP launch from Scottish pop princess out June 26th via Icons Creating Evil Art

Baby Taylah, hails from Glasgow, and since the age of 14 when she first engaged with music, she has been experimenting with music production as well as playing guitar, harp and electronic instruments – Taylah is forging her own identity devoid of genre pigeon-holing and laying claim to be an original voice fusing atmospheric sonic electronica with Celtic roots embracing the human condition within her lyrics.

This break from the norm is a perfect marriage with her label Icons Creating Evil Art, a Stockholm based company who embrace dark pop but Taylah is more than dark.

Her mixture of angelic vocals with shimmering sounds makes for a sound unlike anything heard in recent times, and marks her out as someone of distinction. And whilst there may be people saying she resembles Lauren Mayberry of Chvrches fame, in her house, Taylah is spreading the word of her own gospel.

Taylah has been on the scene in Glasgow since 2009, and despite recording recors she considers this a comeback ‘I wanted the EP to be empowering; I wrote is a comeback from failing the first time ’round, and it was important for me to express the emotions which came along with that’.

Good Enough EP is available to stream from June 26th via Icons Creating Evil Art.
