Uk rockers Big Mono have shared their brand new single ‘Truth Be Told’ available via all streaming services.
“Truth be Told” speaks of the age old relationship struggles that most can relate to”, said guitar player Neil.“The song’s punchy groove and insistent chorus originally had the working title of “ZZ Stop” as a tip of the hatto a major influence of the band.”
Dan added “I was definitely inspired by the song “Precious and Grace” drum wise – I’ve at least borrowed
Frank Beard’s groove there, possibly nicked it. But if you get a chance in life to do what ZZ Top would do, you should do it”
The track has everything you need, from straight up slick guitar riffing, tremendous drums and screaming rock vocals. A brief bluesy breakdown ushers in a face melting solo which morphs into a rock-tastic full band outro. The track scratches an itch many fail to reach.
