After sharing their debut single, ‘Flinch‘, Crimson Veil has shared their second track, ‘Illuminate’. Both tracks are taken from the band’s debut album, ‘Hex’, which is due out on September 20th via Reigning Phoenix Music.
The band comments:
“‘Illuminate’ was written during a period of dark reflection, waiting for a new pathway to appear. It’s about letting go of your dreams and giving yourself over to the universe and trusting it will guide you out of a dead end.”
A brooding, melodic masterpiece led by Mishkin Fitzgerald’s vocals, which waver between fragile falsetto to powerful metal Goddessm all the while the band grind out the heavy and slow backing. It makes me want a cello in all my metal music.
