South Coast pop artist Daisy Pring is stepping into a bolder version of herself on TAKE FLIGHT, a slick collision of pop and R&B that opens the door on her next chapter.
Recorded at Offbeat Studios with producer Jess Heeney, TAKE FLIGHT runs on polished production, restless energy and Pring’s increasingly confident vocal presence. Taking sonic cues from the worlds of Tate McRae and CHXRRY, the track explores attraction and the thrill of pulling someone into your orbit.
On this track, Pring approaches physical desire more directly than she has in previous material, embracing a more assured and sensual side of her songwriting without losing the pop instincts that have driven her work so far.
It follows a period of steady momentum for Pring, who has worked with Taka Perry, Chelsea Warner and Jordie Ireland while picking up radio support from triple j, NOVA FM and Hot Hits. Treading Water earned a nomination in the Vanda & Young Global Songwriting Competition, while Pring took second prize in the 2025 APRA AMCOS Emerging Songwriter Award.
With a larger new chapter due to unfold in 2027, Pring is making sure the first glimpse arrives with its confidence dialled all the way up.
