Norwegian artist Helene Alexandra Jæger, trading under the Holy Boy Moniker, is releasing a new single ‘Elergy’, out via Native Habitat recordings, ahead of her debut album expected later in the year.
It’s an ode to Los Angeles, where she now resides, saying “Coming from Bergen, Norway, I’d never seen a city like LA before. It was like landing on a different planet. The complete opposite to Scandinavia. No safety net.” It’s woozy, with washes of electronics and wiry synth lines catching the ear. Over the top Jæger’s ethereal vocal soars over everything.
