Irish band Just Mustard have just released a visualiser for a new track ‘I Am You’, accompanying news that they will be supporting the marvelous Fontaines D.C.’s 2022 EU tour as well as releasing their new album in the new year through Partisan Records.

The track perfectly captures Just Mustard’s brooding, stylistic music: serpentine rhythms, distant alien sounds in the ether and sparse shimmering guitars, replete with arctic vocals that are dissociated and velvet coated. The lyrics match the haunting aura:

I am you with the red
I am you with the red
Change my hair
Change my dress
Change my head

This is a delightful post punk sound: visceral and chilling. The track is accompanied by a suitably surreal and ethereal visualiser created by Dylan Friese-Greene:
